π§ FAQ
How accurate are these predictions? These results are estimates based on cycle averages. Because stress, diet, and health can shift your dates, we recommend pairing this tool with ovulation test strips or basal body temperature (BBT) tracking for the highest precision.
What is the "Luteal Phase"? The luteal phase is the time between ovulation and the start of your next period. For most, this lasts about 14 days. If you aren't sure of yours, keep the default at 14.
Is the "Boy/Girl" advice guaranteed? No. The Shettles Method is a popular theory regarding the speed and durability of X and Y sperm, but it is not a scientifically proven guarantee.
π The Science of the Fertile Window
An egg lives for only 12 to 24 hours after release, but sperm can survive inside the body for up to five days. This is why your "Fertile Window" begins several days before you actually ovulate. To boost your odds, time intercourse in the days leading up to ovulation rather than waiting for the day itself.
